Tonight begins the first night of Chanukah, which also happens to be Christmas Eve, for some other folks. It also began right after shabbat ended, so it was a race to get latkes made…they are, after all, one of the easiest things to get done in sort of a hurry.
I’m not sure how or when or where I acquired this recipe, but it’s fantastic, and makes great holiday gifts. Best of all, it’s pretty easy; you don’t even need a candy thermometer! Holy cow, guys, this is the real deal! The movie theater nachos of your youth? This is it, right here, and it was lovingly imagined by Doesn’t Taste Like Chicken. As you can see, Astrid is eating it all up, and loving every bite! What’s more, it’s gooey and stretchy, which delivers an authentic experience with none of the dairy.
I decided to give Bullet Journaling a try, to see if I can get some things a little more organized and productive around here.
